# zicula-product-feed-kit — free sample

Three real files from the full kit (22 files), each **trimmed to taste** —
enough to judge the quality, not enough to run your feed pipeline:

- `sample-catalog.csv` — 3 of the 8 products from the kit's clean example
catalog (backpack, merino top, sleeping bag with a `sale_price`), with the
descriptions shortened to one sentence. This is the catalog shape that passes
the validator: valid GS1 GTIN checksums, apparel rows carrying
color/size/gender/age_group, variants grouped by `item_group_id`, absolute
https URLs, and prices in the form each channel accepts. Opens in any
spreadsheet — every row of the full catalog is built to this pattern.
- `error-playbook-excerpt.md` — the first 4 of the 20 feed errors from
`docs/error-playbook.md`, complete: missing required attributes, price
format, availability tokens, condition — symptom → cause → fix, exactly as
  the full playbook writes them.
- `column-mapping-preview.csv` — the first 6 of 22 rows of the column-mapping
worksheet (`kit_column`, `required_for`, example, notes) with an empty
`your_source_column` for you to fill: this is the once-per-store step that
turns your Shopify/Woo/custom export into the kit's master CSV.

What the full kit adds (the other 19 files):

- **The tools:** `generate_feed.py` (one master CSV/JSON → Google Merchant XML
+ Meta catalog CSV + TikTok catalog CSV), `validate_feed.py` (pre-submit
validator with readable, stable error codes and an exit code for scripts),
`feedlib.py` (the shared rules: schemas, normalization, GTIN checksum,
destination profiles), and `run-demo.sh` (end-to-end demo, no network).
- **The samples:** the full 8-product clean catalog and the broken catalog with
12 deliberate violations — run the validator on it and watch all 12 get
caught — plus the complete 22-row mapping worksheet.
- **The SOPs:** Google Merchant Center, Meta Catalog and TikTok Catalog, each
from account setup to reading post-upload diagnostics; the Content API →
Merchant API migration playbook (the Aug 18, 2026 sunset — 410s since
Sep 1, 2026); the 20-error playbook; and the markets-and-languages guide for
  one catalog → many countries/currencies.
- SETUP.md, the 7-chapter walk-through, and MANIFEST + the single-buyer
commercial license (every store you run, including client work).

Requires only Python 3.8+ — nothing to install, no accounts, no network calls.
